Best CRM with Email Marketing (2026): 5 All-in-One Tools Compared

We compare HubSpot, Brevo, ActiveCampaign, Keap and Pipedrive on how well they combine a CRM with email marketing, and what the bundle really costs.

Most small businesses start with a CRM for sales and a separate newsletter tool, then spend years exporting and importing lists between them. The result is emails sent to people who already bought, or who asked your salesperson to stop. A CRM with email marketing built in keeps one contact record, so your campaigns know about every deal, call and conversation.

We compared five tools that combine the two jobs, on how deeply they are connected and on what the combined bill looks like for a small team.

How we chose

A combined CRM and email tool has to do both jobs well enough that you do not need a second product:

  • One contact record used by sales and marketing, with deals and email engagement side by side.
  • Newsletters and automated emails, such as welcome series and follow-ups triggered by a form or a deal stage.
  • Segments built from CRM data, for example customers who bought last year but not this year.
  • A deal pipeline for the people who sell.
  • A bill you can predict, since email tools often price by contacts while CRMs price by user.

We read each vendor’s own pricing page and help center. Where a vendor only shows prices in a calculator we could not read, we say so. Read more about how we review.

The best CRMs with email marketing

#1
★ Best overall

HubSpot

Best for small businesses that want marketing, sales and service on one platform

Free; Starter $20/seat/moVisit HubSpot

What we like

  • Free CRM includes email marketing, forms, landing pages and live chat
  • Starter bundle adds marketing email, sales and service tools without HubSpot branding
  • Every email, form fill and deal sits on the same contact record
  • More than 2,000 integrations

Watch out for

  • Free plan covers only 2 users and 1,000 contacts
  • Exceeding Starter limits, such as contacts or email sends, moves you to Professional
  • Professional starts at $50 per seat per month and requires paid onboarding

HubSpot is the most complete answer to “one tool for sales and marketing”. The free CRM already includes email marketing, a form builder, landing pages, ad management, live chat and a meeting scheduler. Because everything writes to the same contact record, a salesperson can see which newsletter a lead clicked, and a marketer can exclude everyone with an open deal from a promotion.

The Starter Customer Platform adds the Starter edition of each HubSpot product, including marketing email without HubSpot branding, sales pipelines, ticketing and a website builder.

Which plan to pick: start free. Move to Starter when you need more users, want to remove branding or need simple automation.

Watch out for: limits. Starter has caps on contacts, seats and email sends, and exceeding them moves you to Professional. Check HubSpot’s product and services catalog for the current Starter limits against your list size before you commit.

Best value

Brevo

Best for budget-conscious businesses that send a lot of email to a large list

Free; email from $9/moVisit Brevo

What we like

  • Free plan: 300 emails a day and storage for up to 100,000 contacts
  • Free sales tools on every plan: 50 open deals, 1 pipeline, meeting scheduling and live chat
  • Priced by emails sent, not by contacts stored
  • Yearly billing saves 10%

Watch out for

  • Free and Starter plans include 1 user seat; multi-user sales access needs Standard or higher
  • Unlimited deals and pipelines need the Sales Essentials add-on ($31/mo)
  • Starter emails carry a Brevo logo unless you buy the logo-removal add-on

Brevo, formerly Sendinblue, started as an email platform and has added a sales CRM on top. Every plan, including the free one, comes with built-in sales tools: 50 open deals and one pipeline, meeting scheduling, live chat, task reminders and sales reports, plus one connected calendar and mailbox.

The free plan is unusually generous for email: 300 sends a day and room for up to 100,000 contacts. Paid plans are priced by monthly email volume, starting at $9 per month on Starter and $18 on Standard. Standard adds unlimited automated workflows, A/B testing and one landing page, and removes the Brevo logo.

Which plan to pick: Standard plus Sales Essentials ($31 per month) for a small team that needs multiple users, unlimited deals and pipelines, and sales automation. Brevo says multi-user access in Sales Essentials is only available on Standard, Professional and Enterprise, and its help center lists extra sales seats at $31 a month each, so price the seats you need.

Watch out for: automatic upgrades. On the first tiers of Starter and Standard, the email volume you choose also sets a contact storage limit, and Brevo automatically moves you to the next tier if you exceed it.

#3
Best marketing automation

ActiveCampaign

Best for businesses whose growth depends on automated email journeys

Priced by contactsVisit ActiveCampaign

What we like

  • Marketing automation on every plan, with unlimited automation actions from Plus
  • Landing pages from the Plus plan
  • Deal pipelines through the Pipelines or Sales Engagement CRM add-ons
  • 14-day free trial with no credit card

Watch out for

  • The CRM deal pipeline is a paid add-on
  • Starter allows 1 user and 5 actions per automation
  • We could not read prices on the pricing page; use its calculator with your contact count
Starter
1 user, 5 actions per automation
Plus
1 user, landing pages
Pro
3 users, advanced segmentation
Guarantee
30-day money back

ActiveCampaign is an email and marketing automation platform first, built for automated sequences: welcome series, lead nurturing, re-engagement and ecommerce follow-ups. Plus removes the cap on automation actions and adds landing pages. Pro adds advanced segmentation, predictive and conditional content, and attribution and conversion tracking.

The sales side comes from two paid add-ons. Pipelines adds pipeline management and sales automation. Sales Engagement includes everything in Pipelines plus extra email and AI tools for salespeople.

Which plan to pick: Plus with the Pipelines add-on for a small business that wants automation and a deal pipeline in one place. Starter limits each automation to 5 actions, so it only suits simple email programs.

Watch out for: the total price. ActiveCampaign prices by contact count and billing term, and the CRM add-on is extra. Its pricing page loads prices in a calculator that we could not read, so enter your real list size there before you compare it with HubSpot or Brevo.

#4
Best for service businesses

Keap

Best for coaches, consultants and service firms that sell, invoice and follow up in one system

From $299/mo (annual)Visit Keap

What we like

  • One platform for CRM, email, text marketing, landing pages, quotes, invoices and payments
  • 2 users included; extra users $39 per month each
  • Library of ready-made automations built for small businesses
  • U.S.-based phone support, 24/7 chat and a dedicated Customer Success Manager

Watch out for

  • Starts at $299 per month, billed annually ($2,988 a year)
  • An implementation package is required on top of the subscription
  • $299 early termination fee if you cancel an annual contract early

Keap sells the whole platform at one price instead of splitting it into feature tiers. Contact management, lead scoring, email broadcasts and automated emails, landing pages and sales funnels, a sales pipeline, appointment scheduling, quotes, invoices, checkout forms and payments are all included, along with text marketing for U.S. users with 500 messages and 100 voice minutes a month.

That breadth suits service businesses where the same client is marketed to, booked, invoiced and followed up for a review, all without leaving one system.

Which plan to pick: there is one platform price, which rises with contact count. Ask about the implementation package cost before you sign, since Keap requires it.

Watch out for: commitment. Keap is the most expensive option here, the implementation package is mandatory, and cancelling an annual contract early costs $299. The free trial is limited to 25 emails and cannot process payments or send texts.

Pipedrive is a sales CRM first. If your team already lives in its pipeline and you only need a monthly newsletter or a product announcement, the Campaigns add-on is the least disruptive way to add email marketing. It uses the same contact list as sales, with marketing automations, scheduling, double opt-in, custom templates and real-time engagement reports.

Campaigns comes in Standard and Premium tiers. Premium adds comparative insights. You choose the number of subscribers when you buy, and Pipedrive says the more contacts you add, the less you pay per subscriber.

Which plan to pick: Growth for the CRM, since it adds full email sync and automations, plus Campaigns Standard sized to your subscriber count.

Watch out for: the combined cost. You pay per CRM seat and separately for Campaigns by subscriber count, so compare the total with HubSpot Starter or Brevo before you buy.

Which one should you choose?

  • You want one platform that does everything, starting free: HubSpot.
  • You send a lot of email on a small budget: Brevo, adding Sales Essentials when you need a real pipeline.
  • Automated email journeys drive your revenue: ActiveCampaign with the Pipelines add-on.
  • You run a service business and want payments and invoicing too: Keap, if the price fits.
  • You already love Pipedrive: add Campaigns rather than switching.

Before you move, check how each tool handles unsubscribes from sales emails versus marketing emails, so you stay compliant with CAN-SPAM and similar rules.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best CRM with email marketing built in?

For most small businesses, HubSpot, because its free and Starter tiers put marketing email and the CRM on the same contact records. If your budget is tight, Brevo pairs a free plan (300 emails a day and basic sales tools) with low-cost paid email plans and a $31-per-month sales add-on.

Is it better to use one tool or a CRM plus a separate email tool?

One tool avoids syncing contacts between systems, so your segments always reflect the latest deals and conversations. Two specialist tools can be stronger at each job. If you already use a CRM you like, check whether it offers an email add-on, such as Campaigns for Pipedrive, before switching.

Is there a free CRM with email marketing?

Yes. HubSpot's free CRM includes email marketing tools for up to 2 users and 1,000 contacts. Brevo's free plan includes 300 email sends a day, storage for up to 100,000 contacts and free sales tools with 50 open deals and 1 pipeline.

How is CRM and email marketing software priced?

Usually by contacts or email volume for the marketing side and by user for the sales side. Brevo prices email by monthly sends; ActiveCampaign and Pipedrive Campaigns price by contact count; HubSpot prices Starter per seat; Keap charges a flat monthly price with 2 users included.
